06/01/21
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope you and all your family had a nice Christmas and want to take this opportunity to wish you a happy and healthy New Year.
Yesterday, the Minister for Education announced that schools will remain closed until after the mid-term break in February. Teachers will be planning for remote learning on Thursday 7th January and tasks will be sent home via Seesaw from Friday 8th January. Tasks will be available for completion on Mathletics and Reading Eggs tomorrow morning (Thursday 7th). Home learning Packs for January will be available on Monday 11th January between 10am-12noon. Home learning packs for February will be available on Friday 29th January.
The guidelines state that children of key workers and children who would be considered vulnerable should be facilitated in school if required. These children will be supervised to complete the same activities as those working remotely at home. Should you feel that in your key worker roll you may need in school provision please follow the link below and complete the online form accordingly. We would ask that you book your place a week in advance so we know what supervision is required. Please be aware that children may not be supervised in their own classrooms and by their own teachers. As there are no catering facilities pupils should bring a snack for break and lunch.
Should you require any further information please email info@stolcansps.armoy.ni.sch.uk.
